The ideological base of our foundation was established by the founder and IC Investment Holding Chairman İbrahim Çeçen during his struggle to finish education. Established in 2004, the mission of İbrahim Çeçen Foundation is to contribute to solving education and health problems in Turkey, and to increase culture and welfare levels.
Our vision is to become a leading organization that provides solutions for domestic problems, helps Turkey develop in many areas such as education, sports, health and culture, contributes to improving social levels and operates in every province in Turkey.
In the collaborative education, health, sports, culture and arts projects carried out with various organizations, İbrahim Çeçen Foundation aims to help solving the problems experienced in Turkey. In this context, in addition to country-wide activities, Ağrı (the hometown of the founder İbrahim Çecen) was designated as the pilot area.
Our foundation grants non-refundable scholarships to successful university students who need support all across Turkey. With the scholarships İbrahim Çeçen began to give personally in 1984, thousands of students were supported up until today. 750 students are receiving non-refundable scholarships this year as well.
Among the priorities of the Foundation are;

Also providing support for education through school construction projects, the most important and clear indicator of the İbrahim Çeçen Foundation’s contribution to education in our country is the Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University in Ağrı.
Constructed as a donation to the state, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University began operating in 2009-2010 academic year and consists of 4 faculties, 4 grad schools, 2 vocational schools and 2 institutes.
In addition to completing and donating the physical campus buildings, İbrahim Çeçen Foundation has started projects to support Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University socially and culturally. Some of these projects are twin universities abroad, supporting student and academician exchange programs, supporting EU projects and other fund-originated projects.
The university will be the driving force behind improving education, culture, social and economic levels. We aim to improve the lifestyle in Ağrı with the university and hope that the graduates will have an impact on the economic, scientific, social and cultural future of our country.
